i literally have this exact same plush in real life. shes been in my life since i was a baby!!! its so cute that i get to have a little gif version of her as well
those red bits in her ears are supposed to be earrings- they're just straight up screws painted over with nailpolish lol. she also has a little fashionable necklace.
i honestly cant remember if i named her or not. i think i might've named her after my moms cat? (who was also a calico). something along the lines of 'churella'. she had died before i was born but my mom did mention her multiple times.
i also have the smaller version of her. no accessories, and also no picture because shes a bit nasty and i realized i needed to wash her ...
honestly... i thought i grew out of plushies? like i thought they were cute but thought the whole 'cuddling with them constantly/while you slept' and 'having a bed full of plushies' wasnt for me. and well they werent for a long while. while i did have a sizable collection, they were all 1. from before i got to georgia and 2. from my itty bitty childhood. so by the time i was in my teens i had like no plushies in my room. at all. they were all in a box hidden somewhere, and sometimes id take them out to mess around or reminise before putting them right back.
(and, side tangent, even if i did want to put them somewhere, i couldnt- i didnt actually have a proper room in georgia. no actual privacy (couldnt lock the door because of the floor plan making it so every room had one entrance and exit in a straight line, so i kept my door unlocked so my mother could reach the other room behind mine), and also my mother kept switching where i slept from 'my' room to the main kitchen area and vice versa because 'its colder/hotter there in the winter/summer!!!!' even though i never felt a difference. also every time i did try to customize my 'room' she'd just end up changing/moving it somewhere else later down the line. fun!)
when i went back to america i only brought 4 of those plushies with me, as shown here (stock images, not mine) V
i imagined they would be good to have in my room! (a proper one this time...) and honestly i was a little attached with the ones i brought (which is why i did bring them). chip (as shown above) and the dog were both used as references for art pieces i had to do for school, the kitten obviously cannot be separated from the mother, and frights the cat (canon name) i honestly just thought was cute.
i thought that that would be the end, just these 4 on a cabinet...
however, my collection has... grown significantly. (again, all stock images and not mine)
to list them all out currently, left to right:
andy, my build-a-bear sylveon plush - the girly who started it all lol. i wasnt planning on getting her (50 dollars...) but i was there with family and they INSISTED they get it for me. i relented. it turns out she is very very cuddlable. i sleep with her now because she is the exact perfect shape for cuddling comfortably (arms wrap around nicely, and her ear snuggles against my neck) and also laying her on my chest reminds me of my cat and how she felt when she slept on me... her only accessory currently is a black n white scrunchie i bought for myself because my hair was getting too long, which is situated behind her bow on her ear. its so i dont lose it lol
this scraggly thing - found in my dads houses attic. yellowfang-core. needed to take it home immediately. currently lies on the table right next to the vent
calico - got at a goodwill with the siamese cat. the bell actually rings! funnily enough while i was at the goodwill, i had been looking at both of these while debating on which i should get, when an old woman came up to me and started up a small conversation (asking me about the plushies). we talked for a few minutes and she convinced me to buy them. 7 dollars total for both. thank you old woman for encouraging my bad spending habits lol
webkins siamese cat - got at a goodwill with the calico cat. this thing actually came with its tag still in tact?? it was in a little clear flap wrapped around the arm. im not actually sure if the code still works. i should test it out
toothless plush - got at a garage sale for free. i thought the posing was really dynamic and would look cool in my room!
while i would provide actual images of all of them lined up, the problem is that there is no good lighting in my room. this shit is so blurry and you can barely see anything. so i have taken to providing stock images until the day i can take a proper picture. sorry lol
