im an artist and general follower of the fuck around and find out ideology (aka i like trying out things for the hell of it whether i know what im doing or not). this website is one of them.
if you're looking for personality traits then uh. sorry buster i dont have a lot of those. i could not tell you a concrete one (other than like. nice) if i tried, considering almost everything seems to contradict each other on a daily basis. so ummmmm. idk look around my website and start taking notes. this is homework im giving you homework.

"why 'maraschinotopped'?"
because it sounds regal and nice. and it gives me the name mara.
to get more specific- the idea of a cherry themed website had been in my head for a long time, but the name itself didnt come into being until late 2022... being used on another website as my username. this website didnt come into being until july 2023 after i was able to catch one (1) website coding class and realized how easy it was. and the rest is history! woohoo!

i googled names of cherries and i picked the one that looked the nicest. what else do you need out of a name.

"do you have any favorite... anythings?"
good question! only sort of the time.
food -> i am partial to cheesecake, red velvet cake, and cookies & creme icecream. i also like corn on the cob, but i literally only found that out in like july 2025 considering i never had it before then. 2 decades of life everybody.
drink -> coffee, i suppose? i drink it daily (cheap instant decaf) and i find it fine. i also like cherry coolatta which is basically just a fruit drink.
movie -> i watch movies every once in a blue moon. unfortunately this means i dont have a favorite.
music -> you should listen to the albums mad rat monday (chongo show on youtube) and bombertracks (siivagunner). they're my favorite in the sense where they're my background music working tracks. otherwise my music taste is basically everything under the sun which rotates daily. graham kartna is pretty good. ive recently gotten into renard and im dipping my toes into halley labs discography.

correct. that is ceti, nickname sunny, my little puppet gal who i put through the horrors for a short story. shes my scrunkly. if you click on her, you might get to know a bit more about her :)

well. ive got a cat (unfortunately not currently with me, shes living with my mom at the current moment) dubbed caramel legally but more often called baby. i hate spotify and have never used it in my life out of sheer spite and dignity. im agnostic bc i cant find enough of a reason to think about religion in daily life to justify anything else. i collect gifs. i only know English, mainly because i cant seem to learn anything else and get it to stick. might've been a cat in a previous life considering how vivid i can imagine cat behavioral tics in my head (i once attempted to scent something from another room by opening my mouth and trying to breath it in. like a cat.) theres probably more around. i like giving tidbits about myself.
